With its experienced research and development department, Addinol provides state-of-the-art gas engine oils that are perfectly tailored to the individual requirements of each system.
This gives you access to gas engine oils that ensure:
• optimal engine protection
• longer operating times
• and lower maintenance costs
Gas engine oil is far more than just a simple lubricant for an engine. Gas engine oils are a crucial key to the most efficient and long-lasting operation of your system. Therefore, Addinol's engine oils are specifically formulated to meet the more complex requirements of today's gas engines.
One example of the high performance of these gas engine oils is the proven Addinol MG 40 - Extra Plus, which was specially developed for biogas plants. Addinol Eco Gas 4000 XD was formulated to meet the specific requirements of natural gas engines.
Advantages of Addinol Gas Engine Oil
Protection against deposits and corrosion
• Foreign matter is bound and removed
Thanks to high-quality additives in the oil, deposits and foreign matter are bound and removed. This prevents small soot particles or other debris from accumulating in the engine; instead, they are transported to the oil filter and removed during the next oil change.
Efficiency through longer service life
• Up to 50% longer service life
Addinol gas engine oils, with their robust additives, achieve significantly longer service life than many other engine oils for this application. This results in up to 50% longer service life, which significantly contributes to the efficiency of your system.
Lower maintenance costs
• Fewer oil changes and lower repair costs
Operating costs for your system are naturally reduced by running it longer with the same engine oil. Furthermore, less frequent oil changes reduce labor.
Thanks to effective protection against wear, deposits, and corrosion, repair and maintenance costs are also reduced.
``` Research and Development
Development of Gas Engine Oil
• Experience, intensive testing, collaboration with OEMs
In-house research and development is a core competency of Addinol. To create high-performance gas engine oils, more than just excellent base oils and additives are needed.
Thanks to our many years of experience, we can develop engine oils that meet the requirements of a wide range of gas engines. Close collaboration with manufacturers and intensive testing are key to this process.
Procedure
• Compounding, stress testing, testing phase, and inspection
Before a gas engine oil can be used, considerable time is required. Initially, comprehensive analyses are conducted in our in-house laboratory to select the necessary additives in the appropriate quantity and composition.
Then, stress tests are carried out according to the manufacturers' specifications. This is followed by a practical testing phase in one or two engines. After each field test, the engine is disassembled and thoroughly inspected.
Only then can approval from the engine manufacturers be obtained and the engine oil be distributed.
